Educational Qualification for Delhi Police Constable
- 10+2 (Senior secondary) pass from a recognized Board/University.
- Relaxable upto 11th pass only for - Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police Sons/daughters of servicing, deceased, retired police personnel including MTS of Delhi.
Other Requirements
The applying male candidates must have a two-wheeler or four-wheeler permanent Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle/Car) as of the date of PE&MT. The license must be renewed and updated. Learners’ licenses will not be entertained.

Delhi Police Constable Selection Process 2023
The selection process for Recruitment Cycle 2023 is not released yet. According to last year’s notification, the Delhi Police Constable recruitment stages involve -
- Computer-Based Examination - This exam tests the skills of the students in the basics of Computer knowledge. Topics like MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Word, etc. are asked.
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test - This test will be based on checking the physical fitness of the candidates.
- Document Verification - Candidates who clear the above rounds get to appear for the last step, that is, document verification.
- Medical Test - In this test, the candidates will have to clear the standard medical statistics set by the Delhi Police.

Delhi Police Constable Exam Pattern 2023
Candidates applying for this recruitment will have to go through the two-stage selection process - a Written Examination, followed by a Physical Endurance and Measurement Test and a Medical Test. Both the physical and the medical tests will be qualifying in nature.The following are the highlights of the Delhi Police Constable exam pattern for the Written Examination:
- The Computer Based Test will be of 100 marks in total.
- All the questions will be objective type
- One and a half hours will be allotted.
- Each question carries 1 mark
- A negative marking of 0.25 marks will be applicable for every wrong answer.
- The question paper will be both in English and Hindi language.
- The exam duration is 90 minutes.
