SELECTION PROCESS FOR RRB NTPC 2023

The selection process for RRB NTPC 2023 consists of five main stages. Below is a detailed description of the selection procedure:

RRB NTPC 2023: Computer Based Test 1 (CBT-1)

The initial stage of the selection process is CBT-1, which serves as a screening test. The marks obtained in the first stage will be normalized to shortlist candidates for the second stage CBT.

RRB NTPC 2023: Computer Based Test 2 (CBT-2)

Candidates who successfully clear CBT-1 proceed to the second stage, CBT-2. Upon passing the second stage CBT, candidates are required to appear for a skill exam specific to the positions they have applied for.

RRB NTPC CBAT/Typing Test Skill Test

For candidates applying for Traffic Assistant and Station Master positions, the RRB NTPC CBAT is mandatory. A minimum T-Score of 42 marks is required to qualify.

Candidates who have applied for Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper,  Senior Clerk cum Typist,  Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper will also need to take this test.

Candidates are expected to type at least 25 WPM in Hindi or 30 words per minute (WPM) in English using a Personal Computer, without the use of editing tools or spell check.

RRB NTPC 2023: Document Verification

Candidates who clear CBT-1, CBT-2, and the Computer Based Aptitude Test and Typing Skill Test (where applicable) are invited for Document Verification based on their merit.

Successful individuals will be appointed after passing the required Medical Fitness Test.

RRB NTPC 2023: Medical Examination

Candidates must meet the prescribed Medical Standards for the post(s) they have applied for.

It is essential for applicants to carefully review the medical standards specific to each post, as those deemed medically unsuitable will not be offered any alternative positions.
