SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria

Nationality –

 The candidate must be an Indian citizen. If the candidate is from Nepal or Bhutan, or Bangladesh but has a valid certificate to prove their intention of settling in India, permanently are also eligible to apply for this exam. This valid certificate should get issued by the Government of India.

If they possess a valid document proving their intention to settle permanently in India, Tibetan refugees who arrived in India prior to 01st January 1962, with the intention of doing so, as well as people of Indian descent who migrated from nations such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya, are also eligible to take this exam.

• The candidates must have earned a degree in any field of study or an equivalent qualification from a reputable school or board.

• Ex-servicemen with matriculation who have earned the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or a comparable certificate in the Navy or Air Force after serving for at least 15 years in the Union’s armed forces are also qualified for the position.
• Candidates must have received at least a 50% on their 10th board examination from a certified board.
• Candidates are required to have scored 50% on both their Secondary and Higher Secondary exams.
• To be appointed as an SBI Clerk, candidates must have a strong command of both the official and regional languages.
• Additionally, applicants for the SBI Clerk position must have a fundamental understanding of computers.

Age –

Candidates must be at least 20 years old and they cannot be older than 28 years old as of 01st August 2022, which means the candidate must have been born between 02nd August 1994 and 01st August 2002 in order to be eligible to take the SBI Clerk 2022 exam. According to government regulations, candidates from the reserved categories receive a relaxation of the upper age limit.

SBI Clerk Reservation Category-Wise

The reservation for candidates in the special category will be determined by the State Bank of India. Before applying, applicants who fall under the categories of SC, General, ST, or EWS should research their reservation percentage. SBI Clerk Salary

The starting basic pay for applicants who are chosen for the position of Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in the clerical cadre is Rs. 19900 (Rs. 17900 plus two advance increments available to graduates). Also, multiple additional benefits get added to this salary.
