About IBPS Clerk Recruitment Process
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection hosts recruitment process for all its public sector banks except for State Bank of India. There is a single application form to be filled in by the aspiring candidates who want to apply for the recruitment process that consists of two phases – preliminary and main exam.
Each of these phases needs a separate Admit card. Candidates who qualify in preliminary exam are only able to appear for the next phase – mains exam. It is crucial for the candidates to prepare well for preliminary exam and score good marks, and then prepare good for mains exam and score more than cut off marks to secure position as clerical staff in one of the banks participating with IBPS for recruitment process.
IBPS conducts recruitment process for 11 public sector banks. Every year IBPS conducts common recruitment process (CRP) to recruit for various positions in these public sector banks.
IBPS Clerk Result
The IBPS clerk preliminary result for the year 2022 has been declared in September 2022 which was scheduled to be conducted between 3rd and 9th September 2022. The mains exam of IBPS clerk 2022 will be scheduled on October 2022.
The final results for IBPS clerks main result is expected by 1st April 2023 following provisional posting in participating banks for the post.
How to Check IBPS Clerk exam Result?
Candidate who have appeared for IBPS mains exam can check results in following steps
- Candidates should visit IBPS official website.
- Find out the Results link which is in the form of notification in latest or new section
- The screen will need candidate to enter their registration number/roll number and password /date of birth.
- A result page will be displayed on the screen
Candidate can download the result page and take the print out for future reference.
IBPS Clerk Exam Cut-off Marks
IBPS Clerk cut-off is the minimum score that candidates need to secure at preliminary and mains exam and overall levels to qualify for the exam and become eligible for the next level of selection or probationary postings.

Ans. No, IBPS examination recruitment process is divided into two phases, prelims exam and mains exam. The notification has been declared and application for the same applied online from 1sttill 21st July 2022. The admit card for prelims exam was available for download from 17th August – until 4th September 2022. Prelim exam was on 28th August, 3rd and 4th September 2022. The last phase mains exam date has still not declared.
