RBI Assistant Syllabus and Exam Pattern
RBI Assistant Exam is conducted online and has two phases, prelims and mains. The RBI Assistant Syllabus and exam pattern for the preliminary exam is different from the mains exam. The prelims exam pattern is the same as in previous years. However, specific changes are in the mains exam.

Preliminary Exam Pattern
The total maximum mark for the exam is 100. And the total time duration is 1 hour.
**English Language:**In English, a test of 30 questions and the maximum marks for the same is 30 marks.
**Reasoning Ability:**It contains an examination of 35 questions, and the maximum marks for the same are 35 marks.
**Numerical Ability:**It also includes the same marking as Reasoning.
Mains Exam Pattern
The total maximum marks for the exam are 200. And the total time duration is 2 hours 15 mins.
**English Language:**In the English language, 40 questions and the maximum marks for the same are 40 marks.
**Reasoning Ability:**a test of 50 questions, and the maximum marks for the same is 50 marks.
**Quantitative Aptitude:**It also contains the same marking as the Reasoning.
**General Awareness:**this exam has 40 questions, but the time duration for this exam is only 25 minutes.
**Computer Knowledge:**It contains 40 questions, but the time duration for this exam is only 20 minutes.
Candidates must pass the Online Test on each topic with a minimum score. 1/4 marks will be deducted for each wrong response. A candidate marks a question as unanswered if it is left blank. There will be no consequences for asking that inquiry.
Candidates must score at least a passing grade in each topic on the Online Test.
**Phase 2:**The language proficiency test will serve as a qualifying examination. A language proficiency test will be administered to candidates who are provisionally selected through the Online Test (LPT).
LPT will be held in the Official / Local Language of the State in question.
