NABARD Grade-A paper pattern

As the NABARD Grade-A exam consists of different stages, here we will first discuss the prelims. The NABARD Grade-A syllabus and pattern for prelims are here. First, we will discuss its pattern.  

Pattern for Prelims

• NABARD conducts the prelims exam online.
• However, they consider it only as a screening test for candidates.
• Moreover, it is qualifying in nature.
• Besides, the marks which candidates score in this stage are not calculated with the final result.
• Only, the candidates who score more than the least cut-off marks make it to the mains exam.
• Furthermore, the duration of the NABARD Grade-A prelims exam is two hours.
• These prelims exams consist of a total of eight papers carrying 200 marks overall.
• Also, it includes papers like Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, etc.
• Lastly, the medium of language is English as well as Hindi, except for the English paper.

Pattern for Mains:

Now comes the second NABARD exam stage. It is the NABARD Grade-A mains exam.

• It consists of both objectives as well as the descriptive types of questions.
• Unlike the prelims, this exam consists of two different papers.
• Furthermore, we call these Paper-I and Paper-II. Here Paper-I is descriptive in nature. However, Paper-II includes Objective type questions.
• Besides, Paper-I is common to each and every candidate. however, Paper-II varies.
• Moreover, the subjects in Paper-II are according to the post for which the candidate has applied.
• Also, the aggregate score of this paper is the same as the prelims i.e., 200.
• Similar, to the prelims stage, candidates who score more than the minimum cut-off marks will qualify at this stage.
• Lastly, NABARD gives negative marks of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

NABARD Grade-A syllabus

The NABARD Grade-A syllabus is also divided into sections as we did in the pattern section. We will discuss the syllabus according to the stages involved in this exam. So we will first start with the NABARD Grade-A syllabus for prelims.

NABARD Grade-A syllabus for prelims

The NABARD Grade-A syllabus for prelims involves five main subjects. These include Computer Knowledge, English Language, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Moving forward, we will now mention at least the most important topic that NABARD includes in their Grade-A syllabus.

• Computer Knowledge: The first one is Computer Knowledge. It includes topics like Networking, Input-output devices, DBMS, MS Office which includes MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and many more, Internet, shortcut keys may be asked.
• English Language: Our second subject is the English Language. The syllabus of the English language includes Comprehension, Close test, and improvement of a sentence. Moreover, some other topics are tracing errors; fill in the blanks, re-arranging the sentences, Para jumbles, and some New pattern questions.
• General Awareness: Our third subject includes topics like Current Affairs and questions related to Banking, Economy, and Insurance.
• Quantitative Aptitude: The fourth in line is Quantitative Aptitude. The questions are mostly about Interpretations of data and quadratic equations. Moreover, topics like  Number Series, Simplification, Data Sufficiency, Questions on arithmetic, Quantity Comparisons, and Mathematical Inequalities are also in the syllabus.
• Reasoning Ability: Our last subject for prelims is Reasoning Ability. It includes topics like Puzzles and Seating arrangement, Data sufficiency, Inequality, questions based on statements, and syllogism. Furthermore, questions related to input-output, coding-decoding, and blood relation will also be there.

NABARD Grade-A syllabus for mains

The NABARD Grade-A mains exam consists of both descriptive and objective tests. It includes two different papers. Moreover, Paper-I is for English Writing. However, Paper-II includes topics on various from economy and society. We will now discuss all this in a detailed manner.

NABARD Grade-A Syllabus for Paper-I of mains exam

The Paper-I of mains exam is more about English writing. Mostly the syllabus includes questions about Comprehension, Essay Writing, and, Précis writing. However, what topic will be there in the exam is not known. Moreover, the NABARD Grade-A syllabus for this subject is mostly framed in a way that at the time of the exam it can access the writing skills of candidates.

NABARD Grade-A Syllabus for Paper-II of mains exam

The NABARD Grade-A syllabus for Economic & Social Issues includes many topics. Moreover, this section will mainly focus upon the syllabus details of each unit.

• Our first unit is Nature of Indian Economy. This will mostly talk about Features related to the structure and institution of the Indian Economy. • The next one is Inflation. The topics are mostly about its effect on the national economy.

• Lastly, the NABARD Syllabus for mains Paper-I also includes topics on education, social justice, and positive discrimination in favor of the underprivileged
