Overview
NABARD Grade A exam is one of the most prestigious examinations in the country, and it is the gateway to the coveted post of Assistant Manager in the NABARD.
NABARD’s sole purpose is to boost the economy of rural India. Candidates aspiring to join NABARD as officers can prepare for the upcoming NABARD Grade A recruitment in 2023. NABARD is yet to release the official notification. The recruitment process is expected to be conducted in three stages – Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview.

NABARD Grade A Notification 2023
The NABARD notification is yet to be released for its Grade A Officer recruitment for the year 2023. The NABARD Grade A Officer selection process consists of two phases. The first phase is the Preliminary Exam, a written exam consisting of multiple-choice questions. The second phase is the Mains Exam, which is a descriptive exam that tests the candidates’ knowledge and understanding of the banking sector. However, Candidates can refer to the previous year’s notification for reference.

NABARD Grade A Eligibility Criteria
Any applicant must read all the instructions carefully to ensure all the eligibility criteria are fulfilled to apply for the post. As any false/incorrect information and if the candidate does not fit under specific eligibility criteria will be canceled at the interview/joining stage.

For every wrong answer marked, 1/4th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty in Phase I and II. Phase I and II cut-offs may be applied in two stages : (i) On scores in individual tests, (ii) On Total Scores.

The Interview is the final stage of the selection process, which tests the candidate’s overall suitability for the post. The Interview tests the candidate’s knowledge, communication skills, presence of mind, analytical skills, and leadership qualities.

Policy of Tie-Breaking
If some candidates get the same marks, then the ranking of candidates will be based on the following terms:
- Those candidates who have secured equal marks in total (mains exam + interview taken together), in this situation, the priority is given to the candidates who scored higher marks in the mains exam.
- If the candidates secure equal marks in the mains exam, candidates with higher graduation marks or qualifications will be given priority. If this also turns out to be a tie, then the rank will be decided based on age, that is, seniority
