Admit Card

Indian Bank PO is a national-level recruitment exam conducted by the Indian Bank. It is an entrance for recruiting aspirants into the Probationary Officer post offered by the bank branches. The bank releases admit cards and interview call letters. In addition, the conducting body releases its call letter and admit cards on its official website. As a result, the candidate has to qualify for all three rounds.  Also, for each exam, the Indian Bank releases separate admit cards and call letters.

Candidates are hired for recruitment based on three rounds, namely –

  1. Prelims exam
  2. Mains exam
  3. Interview

Moreover, the bank itself releases its admit card for eligible candidates only. Hence, those who have successfully registered themselves can only download the admit card from its official website. Admit cards become available only two weeks before the date of the Examination. Therefore, the candidate must download the admit card within the given time frame. After that, the link to download the admit card gets inactive. However, candidates get notifications about the availability of call letters via email and SMS. Therefore, every applicant must carry a Xerox copy of the call letter. Without it, the candidate can’t sit in the examination hall. 

Keep in mind that Indian Bank is not responsible for sending admit cards to the candidate via post. They are only available in online mode.

The Indian Bank Prelims test is the first step in the recruiting process. Admit card releases once the application process gets over. Therefore, only registered candidates can download the admit card.

The candidates who effectively cleared the Prelims Exam need to appear for the Indian Bank PO Mains exam.

Indian Bank PO Interview Call Letter

Qualified candidates of the second stage, i.e., the Main Examination, are further invited for the Interview round. Indian Bank is responsible for conducting the Interview. The intimation is sent to the candidate by email and SMS to the registered email ID and mobile number used at the time of filling out the Indian Bank PO Application form.

How to Download Indian Bank PO Exam Admit Card?

Applicants can follow the step-by-step procedure for downloading the admit card.

1 – First, the candidate has to visit the official website, i.e., indianbank. in

2 – Now, select the link to ‘Download Indian Bank PO Admit Card from the homepage.’

3 – Candidate will now enter your login credentials like Registration Number, Password/ Date of Birth, and click Submit.

4 – Your admit card will get displayed on the screen.

5 – The candidate must not forget to print two copies of the admit card.

Documents to carry along with the admit card

As per the guidelines issued by the Indian, Bank candidates need to carry some important documents to the examination hall. Note that candidates are not permitted to appear for the Examination without the following documents. The examiner checks the following documents in the examination hall. The documents include –

  1. Carry a downloaded copy of the Indian Bank PO Admit Card.
  2. The candidate has to carry one original ID proof. The ID must not have expired and has the same name as filled in the application form.
  3. Candidates can carry IDs like passports, aadhar cards, Voter ID cards, driving licenses, and Pan cards.
  4. Photo – Identity proof photocopy.

Important Things to Remember

The conducting body has set some guidelines by which every candidate has to abide. Failure to comply with the rules can lead to the cancellation of the candidature. 

  1. The candidate must check all the details mentioned in the admit card. If the candidate finds any errors in the admit card, contact the exam conducting body immediately.
  2. Candidates should not forget to check the examination timings and exam center before the examination day to avoid a rush.
  3. Reach your examination center at least an hour before its commencement.
  4. Don’t forget to read all the instructions listed on the admit card.
  5. Note that the candidate has to appear in the examination hall at the assigned examination center.

Indian Bank PO Interview Call Letter

Specifically, only qualified candidates of the main examinations receive notification for an interview conducted by the Indian Bank in a call letter. Therefore, at every stage, the conducting body releases its separate admit cards and call letters. Intimation regarding downloading the Interview call letters takes place through the registered mobile number and email address. Most importantly, keep in mind that the Interview will take place at selected examination centers. Apart from that, all the essential information like venue, time, and date of the Interview informed the main Examination qualified candidate’s call letter. Therefore, to download the Interview Call Letter a candidate has to visit the Indian Bank official website. 

However, the examination conducting body does not entertain any queries of any candidate related to the change in the venue and date of the Interview. Thus, candidates called for the Interview stage must not forget to bring all the documents mentioned in the call letter. However, in case of negligence, the conducting body cancels candidature from the recruitment at the same time.
