About IDBI Executive Syllabus
The candidates can prepare for the IDBI exam with the help of the exam pattern and syllabus provided online. The exam is consists of following sections: English language, Quantitative aptitude, General awareness & Reasoning (verbal & non-verbal).
The IDBI Executive syllabus of each part is given below –

- A total of 1044 vacancies have been released for the 2022 recruitment.
- The Online Test will be of 200 marks.
- The candidates can expect the results after 15 to 20 days from the completion of the online exam.
About the IDBI Executive Exam Pattern
The selection process for the post of IDBI executive is divided into 3 parts:
- Online exam
- Document verification for SC/ST/PWD candidates
- Medical fitness test followed by Personal Interview
For the online exam, the total duration of the exam is 120 min and there is a sectional time limit.

Wrong Answer Penalty – For each question for which the candidate provided an incorrect answer, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at the corrected score.

Based on the candidate’s performance in the online test, the candidates are placed on the waitlist for the captioned recruitment. The next step in the process is document verification & pre-recruitment medical test. The final candidate selection will be subject to a Physical fitness test as per the medical fitness standard of the bank.
The candidates are requested to report for document verification and medical fitness test at the center & time mentioned in the email communication sent to the candidate. The email communication contains details of the contact person, the venue to report, and the list of documents to be brought for document verification. Any change requests will not be considered.
- The candidate’s final selection is based on the marks earned in a written test and a medical test, in which he or she must be medically fit and meet the IDBI’s eligibility criteria.
- There is no interview round in this exam.
- There will be no penalty if a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate.
