Generally, The ESIC Syllabus for Prelims and Mains is the same. But, the ESIC Steno Syllabus for Mains will NOT have the Quantitative Aptitude section. So, candidates can prepare for both the examination with the following syllabus. Likewise, they need to get qualified in both examinations to get the job. Selection Process
Generally, the selection process will comprise 2 stages. In order to get the job candidates should get qualified in both the test.
- First, Written Test
- Then, Skill Test

ESIC Exam Pattern
Generally, The UDC recruitment process consists of three stages, Prelims, Mains, and Computer Skill Test. So, the candidate needs to appear for the Prelims stage first, which is qualifying in nature. The candidates also need to qualify in the Mains Stage. Once you cleared both the examination you will be selected for the next process of recruiting. Likewise, the last stage of the examination will have a computer knowledge test, which is to check the candidate’s computer knowledge. And also, it is mandatory to clear all three stages to complete the selection process. Consequently, The detailed explanation, marks, weightage for each stage are discussed below.
Generally, ESIC will have different exam patterns for various positions. So, the candidates should refer to the exam syllabus for their desired position on the official website. Candidates need to pass in the following stages to get qualified for the examination.

ESIC- Exam Pattern -Preliminary Examination( Objective Test)

Computer Skill Test (Qualifying in Nature)
- Firstly, The test consists of three parts.
- Then, The total marks will be 50.
- Also, The total time given is 30 minutes.

ESIC Stenographer: Exam Pattern
Generally, the ESIC Stenographer recruitment will be carried out in 2 stages that are Mains Examination and Computer Skill Test and Stenography Test. So, the candidate needs to qualify in all three examinations to get qualify for the next process. Likewise, The last stage of the examination will test the candidate’s computer knowledge and there will also be a stenography test.
