About ESIC Exam

Generally, ESIC exam (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) comes under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. the Gazette of India has recently come up with the recruitment process.  And also ESIC UDC released the number of vacancies in each position. Totally, 6552 vacancies have been in Upper Division Clerk  & Stenographer. In addition, the state-wise vacancy list has also been released. Consequently,  Group ‘C’ posts are expected to be released on the ESIC UDC website in August/September. In addition, The vacancies are announced State-wise, so, the candidates can even get their job in their home state. Generally, the selected candidate will have different postings throughout the country. Likewise, the ESIC UDC examination will also be conducted throughout the country. So, candidates should keep watch out the official website.

ESIC Notifications and News

The recruitment team of ESIC UDC has not released the exact examination date yet, but it will be expected to release very soon. So, the candidates should keep their eyes on the official website for earlier updates. I also attached the ESIC UDC official website link Here.

For the purpose of filling up the post, the recruitment team has just released the vacancies in each post. So, the application process also gets to start very soon. Followed by the release of the application starting date, candidates can also get the Examination date and last date of application. Once after the examination candidates could know the result declaration date. So, keep update yourself with the official website.

ESIC Exam Date

• The official notification regarding the UDC/STENO exam date and other formalities is expected to be released soon by the ESIC.
• Once the application is released, candidates will also get the examination date
• Once the examinations are finished, you can expect the result date after 2 to 3 weeks
• So, Candidates should keep checking this page to stay updated.

Application Fee

Generally, the Application fees will vary from one category to another. So, the candidates should be very aware of their respective categories before applying for the examination. I have also added the table in addition for your reference.

• Generally, the mode of payment will be online- Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
• Likewise, no other mode of payment will be accepted.
• And also, the candidate cannot send money via post.

ESIC Eligibility Criteria

Generally, candidates who are applying for the examination should have the following eligibility to attend the examination. So, the candidates should know the eligibility criteria for their desired position.

Nationality

• Firstly, The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or the subject of countries like Nepal/Bhutan/Tibet.
• Then, The candidate must have an authorized document issued by the Government of India, which proves their nationality.

Educational Qualification

For Upper Division Clerk or Upper Division Clerk Cashier

• Firstly, The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
• And also, the candidate with a basic working knowledge of computers, which entails the use of Office Suites and databases is important.

For Stenographer

• Generally, The candidates must be a 10+2 pass (12th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
• And also the candidate should have the following skillset in addition:

For Dictation: Generally, 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute(Hindi/English)

Then, For Transcription: 50 minutes (English),
And also 65 minutes for Hindi (Only on computers).

Age Limit

• Generally, the minimum age limit is 18
• Likewise, the maximum age limit is 27.
• And also, SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Servicemen will get relaxation.

ESIC Exam Vacancy

Generally, the vacancies for the position will be announced by the recruitment team with the examination process. Likewise, the team has announced the vacancies for various posts in the 2021 examination. So, the EISC candidates can prepare well to get their desired jobs. ESIC Salary

• For both UDC and Stenographer, the entry pay will be 25,500 RS. As per the 7th pay commission, the pay will also be according to the Level 4 of the Pay-Matrix.
• Besides the pay scale, the candidate will receive various benefits and allowances like Dearness Allowances (DA), Housing Renting Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other such Allowances as decided by the Central Government.

ESIC Syllabus

• Generally, The ESIC UDC Syllabus for Prelims and Mains is the same.
• But, the ESIC Steno Syllabus for Mains will NOT have the Quantitative Aptitude section.

Selection Process for Upper Division Clerk/Clerk-Cashier

Generally, the selection process will comprise 2 stages. In order to get the job candidates should get qualified in both the test.

• First, Written Test
• Then, Skill Test

The ESIC UDC Recruitment process 2021 will start whenever ESIC releases the official notification on its website. So, Eligible candidates should know about the selection process and examination pattern.

ESIC Exam Pattern

Generally, ESIC will have different exam patterns for various positions. So, the candidates should refer to the exam syllabus for their desired position on the official website.  Candidates need to pass in the following stages to get qualified for the examination.

ESIC Admit Card

Generally, the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation conducts the recruitment process for various posts. The ESIC Recruitment for this year has not yet started. Earlier this year, the Gazette of India had released a brief notification declaring a total of 6552 vacancies for the post of Upper Division Clerk/Upper Division Cashier-Clerk and Stenographer. The ESIC releases the admit card for Phase I, II, and III, two weeks before the exam date. Since the ESIC Recruitment 2021 will be done for two different posts, the selection process also varies.

Generally, Candidates can view and download their admit card using their login credentials- Registration or Roll number and DOB or password.

Result

Once the examination is finished the ESIC candidates can get their results within one or two weeks. Generally, it will be released on the official website. And also the candidates will be notified through their respective mail IDs. So, the ESIC candidates should keep check out the official website often.

• Likewise, the candidates can see their results on the official portal.

How to Apply?

Once the application process is started candidates need to submit the application on or before the examination date. Generally, application forms will be released on the official website. The application form is likely to be released at any time. So, the candidates should check the official website to get information earlier.

In addition, I have also listed out the following for the easy understanding of the candidates.

• Firstly, Eligible candidates need to visit the official website of ESIC.
• Then, Click on the ‘Recruitment’ tab available at the top of the home page.
• After that, the Recruitment tab will redirect to a page containing a list of notifications released by ESIC for various posts.
• Then, You need to find and select the official notification for the post you wish to apply for.
• Once clicking on the notification, a registration page will open and the candidate needs to fill in his/her details like name, contact number.
• Then, For verification, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and the candidate needs to enter the sent OTP to complete the registration process.
• Once successfully completed the registration process, the candidate will be able to fill the application form.
• Then, In the application form, the candidate needs to fill in the required details and upload the asked documents.
• The application process will be completed once the candidate pays the application fees (only an online mode of payment is acceptable).
• Finally, The candidate needs to download the filled application form and for further examination process should take a printout for the application form.

Q.1 What does ESIC stand for?

Ans. ESIC stands for Employees’ State Insurance Corporation. Generally, The ESI is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.

Ans. Generally, The entry pay will be 25,500 for UDC/Steno. Following the 7th pay commission, the UDC/Steno pay scale will be Level-4 of Pay Matrix ( ₹25,500-81,100). But it may change this year.

Q.6 How many vacancies have been announced for UDC posts this year?

Ans. As per the brief notification released by the Gazette of India, a total of  6552 vacancies have been released for the ESIC Recruitment 2021. For UDC posts, the total number of vacancies stands at 6306. Likewise, for Stenographer the total vacancies are 246. So, the candidates have a very good number of vacancies this year. But the vacancies may change.

Q.7 What will the mode of examination be?

Ans. Generally, The mode of examination for the recruitment of UDC/Steno is ONLINE. Likewise no offline mode of examination for ESIC.

Q.8 Can I submit the application fees offline?

Ans. No, Generally, the candidate needs to use any mode of online payment to pay the application fees. But the mode of examination is offline.

Q.9 Which government body will conduct the ESIC UDC/Steno Recruitment 2021?

Ans. Generally, the Recruitment for ESIC UDC/Steno is carried out by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation, the ESIC is managed by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
