About ESIC Exam

Generally, ESIC exam (Employees’ State Insurance Corporation) comes under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. the Gazette of India has recently come up with the recruitment process.  And also ESIC UDC released the number of vacancies in each position. Totally, 6552 vacancies have been in Upper Division Clerk  & Stenographer. In addition, the state-wise vacancy list has also been released. Consequently,  Group ‘C’ posts are expected to be released on the ESIC UDC website in August/September. Application Fee

Generally, the Application fees will vary from one category to another. So, the candidates should be very aware of their respective categories before applying for the examination. I have also added the table in addition for your reference.

ESIC Eligibility Criteria

Generally, candidates who are applying for the examination should have the following eligibility to attend the examination. So, the candidates should know the eligibility criteria for their desired position.

Nationality

  • Firstly, The candidate must be an Indian Citizen or the subject of countries like Nepal/Bhutan/Tibet.
  • Then, The candidate must have an authorized document issued by the Government of India, which proves their nationality.

Educational Qualification

For Upper Division Clerk or Upper Division Clerk Cashier

  • Firstly, The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
  • And also, the candidate with a basic working knowledge of computers, which entails the use of Office Suites and databases is important.

For Stenographer

  • Generally, The candidates must be a 10+2 pass (12th class pass) or equivalent from a recognized board/university.
  • And also the candidate should have the following skillset in addition:

For Dictation: Generally, 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute(Hindi/English)

Then, For Transcription: 50 minutes (English),
And also 65 minutes for Hindi (Only on computers).

Age Limit

  • Generally, the minimum age limit is 18
  • Likewise, the maximum age limit is 27.

ESIC Salary

  • For both UDC and Stenographer, the entry pay will be 25,500 RS. As per the 7th pay commission, the pay will also be according to the Level 4 of the Pay-Matrix.
  • Besides the pay scale, the candidate will receive various benefits and allowances like Dearness Allowances (DA), Housing Renting Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other such Allowances as decided by the Central Government.

ESIC Admit Card

Generally, the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation conducts the recruitment process for various posts. The ESIC Recruitment for this year has not yet started. Earlier this year, the Gazette of India had released a brief notification declaring a total of 6552 vacancies for the post of Upper Division Clerk/Upper Division Cashier-Clerk and Stenographer. The ESIC releases the admit card for Phase I, II, and III, two weeks before the exam date. Since the ESIC Recruitment 2021 will be done for two different posts, the selection process also varies.

Generally, Candidates can view and download their admit card using their login credentials- Registration or Roll number and DOB or password.

Once the examination is finished the ESIC candidates can get their results within one or two weeks. Generally, it will be released on the official website. How to Apply?

Once the application process is started candidates need to submit the application on or before the examination date. Generally, application forms will be released on the official website. The application form is likely to be released at any time. So, the candidates should check the official website to get information earlier.

  • Firstly, Eligible candidates need to visit the official website of ESIC.
  • Then, Click on the ‘Recruitment’ tab available at the top of the home page.
  • After that, the Recruitment tab will redirect to a page containing a list of notifications released by ESIC for various posts.
  • Then, You need to find and select the official notification for the post you wish to apply for.
  • Once clicking on the notification, a registration page will open and the candidate needs to fill in his/her details like name, contact number.
  • Then, For verification, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number and the candidate needs to enter the sent OTP to complete the registration process.
  • Once successfully completed the registration process, the candidate will be able to fill the application form.
  • Then, In the application form, the candidate needs to fill in the required details and upload the asked documents.
  • The application process will be completed once the candidate pays the application fees (only an online mode of payment is acceptable).
