Generally, the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation conducts the recruitment process for various posts. The ESIC Recruitment for this year has now begun. Earlier this year, the Gazette of India had released a brief notification declaring a total of 6552 vacancies for the post of Upper Division Clerk/Upper Division Cashier-Clerk and Stenographer. The ESIC releases the admit card for Phase I, II, and III, two weeks before the exam date. Since the ESIC Recruitment 2022 will be done for two different posts, the selection process also varies.

ESIC Admit Card – UDC/Steno
ESIC UDC Prelims Admit Card and ESIC Steno Mains Admit Card
It releases the official notification about the application process. Eligible candidates need to fill the online application form, the online application process closes generally after a month. Candidates who complete the application process will receive the Admit Card for the Prelims/Mains Stage. Candidates can get their Admit card 2 weeks before the examination.
ESIC UDC Mains Admit Card
Candidates who successfully pass the Prelims Stage will move on to the next phase of the selection process, which is the Mains Stage. Qualified Candidates will receive the Admit Card for the same two weeks before the exam date.
Note: For ESIC Steno there is only a two-phase examination. Those who successfully pass the Mains exams(Stage I) will be called for the last and final phase- The Skills Test.
ESIC UDC/Steno Skill Test ( Final Stage)
Candidates who successfully pass the Mains Exam will be eligible to appear for the Skill Tests. The Skill Tests for both posts are generally conducted on the same day and the admit card will be released two weeks before the exam date.

How to Download Admit Card?
First, let us start with the steps:
Step 1: The candidate needs to visit the ESIC official website
Step 2: On the home page, the candidate will find the post’s link to which they have applied and after clicking it will be redirected to the ESIC Candidate login page portal.
Step 3: Enter the login credentials:
- Registration or Roll number
- DOB or password
Step 4: After entering the login credentials, Admit Card will appears on the screen.
Step 5: Download the admit card and take its printout.
Note: The candidate should carefully go through it, any discrepancies in the admit card should be brought up with the concerned official authority as soon as possible.

The information on the ESIC hall ticket must match the information on the ESIC application form. Candidates must cross-check these facts on the ESIC admit card to ensure that they are correct.

Documents to Carry with ESIC Admit Card
Candidates need to carry the following documents –
- Valid ESIC UDC/Steno Admit Card for UDC/Steno 2021.
- Valid and Original photo-identity proof, the photo-identity proof should display the candidates’ names.
Candidates can carry the following ID cards with them,
- Voter ID
- Employee ID
- College ID
- Pan Card
- Passport
- Driving License
- Aadhar Card
- Any other ID proof issued by a Gazetted Officer.
- The candidate needs to carry a photocopy of their identity proof, the photocopy will be submitted to the invigilator.
- The candidate should carry their recent passport size photography, which will be attached to the admit card in the presence of the invigilator. A college/university-issued identification card
ESIC UDC/Steno Admit Card: Important Points
- A candidate needs to make sure that he/she has a good internet connection while downloading the Admit Card.
- Candidates should carry their admit cards to the venue.
- Along with the admit card, a valid photo-identify proof both in original and a photocopy of the same should be carried by the candidate to the examination center. Do not forget to carry your recent passport size photograph.
- Remember to thoroughly check the admit card for any discrepancies.
- In case of discrepancies immediately reach out to the concerned authorities.
- The candidates need to download the admit card and the ESIC will not send the Admit card via post to the candidates.
- The candidate should check the examination center, its address, examination date, and time.
- The candidate should carefully fill the application form, as no changes will be allowed after the submission of the application form, similarly, the examination center once selected by the candidate cannot be changed under any circumstances
- The reporting time is already given on the admit card, candidates reporting late will not be allowed to take the examination.
- It is advised to reach the examination center on time to complete various formalities like verification and collection of required documents.

Ans. No, ESIC will not send the admit card via post. It is an online process. The candidates need to download their admit cards from the official website of ESIC.
