Bank of Baroda PO Syllabus

Bank of Baroda has frequently been recruiting candidates from several fields of study every year in various positions in the Bank. The PO post is one of them and for this recruitment, the exam is conducted by the Bank of Baroda Recruitment team under the Indian Public Banking Sector (IPBS). This Exam is called the Bank of Baroda Recruitment Exam. It takes place in 3 stages:

  • The 1st is an online test.
  • The 2nd is Group Discussion.
  • Then, there will be a final interview.

There will be four sections in the online test:

  • Computer Aptitude and Reasoning,
  • General/Economy/Banking/ Awareness,
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • English Language

Along with this, the candidates will also be required to give an English Language paper as well. Further, there are lot of topics related to the above-mentioned subject sections. Group Discussion In Bank of Baroda PO

Now as far as the GD is concerned, it is done in the traditional way. Bank of Baroda will use same method for GD, i.e. one topic will be given to the candidates on spot and they will discuss on the same. By this, innovativeness, confidence, speaking ability and pressure handling is judges. Only those students who will stand out in the above requirements will be then proceeding towards the Final Interview round.

For the personal interview, the candidate is first called in inside a cabin where there are 3-4 members from the bank recruitment board. They are:

Bank of Baroda PO Exam Pattern

The Bank of Baroda PO exam is to select those candidates who are energetic, determined and have problem-solving skills. The selection process as stated above takes place under 3 phases.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the board decided to keep the exam via online mode only. The online exam is one of the most important ones. The candidate has to perform better in four subjects in a span of 150 minutes.
