NIACL AO Exam Pattern & Syllabus
New India Assurance Co. Ltd. is the governing authority of NIACL AO exam. Moreover, it takes all the charges regarding every notification that is released connected to the exam. Furthermore, it includes NIACL AO Exam Pattern and Syllabus and carries out the complete process involved from the point of registration till the final selection.
In addition, the entire examination process of the NIACL-AO happens in three stages –
- Preliminary
- Mains
- Personal Interview
However, the exam pattern varies for each of the three-stage. Thus, candidates must be evident and precise in their preparation regarding which examination stage they appear for. Overall, the final selection of candidates is made after the personal interview round. Weightage for the individual interview round is 20%, and the remaining is 80%.

NIACL-AO Exam Pattern Preliminary Examination
The preliminary exam is an objective-based online test consisting of three subjects, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Also, the entire duration for the test is 60 mins where each section is allotted a specific 20 mins. As well as maximum marks for the whole exam is 100, split up into 35 for both Quantitative and Reasoning and 30 for English. Meanwhile, for Quantitative and Reasoning, both English and Hindi as a medium of language are available.

On the contrary, to proceed to the Mains, candidates must ensure passing marks in each section, as laid down by the Company. For the Mains exam, approximately 15 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted from Prelims out of each category as decided by the Company.
NIACL-AO Exam Pattern of Mains Examination
The Mains exam is the real deal for candidates, as for every vacancy 15 possible candidates prepare. In mains, candidates appear either for a Generalist position exam or a Specialist Position exam. In addition, the NIACL-AO Exam Pattern for mains is similar to prelims. Still, time is squeezed, adding up more mental pressure on the candidates. In addition to that, candidates also have to prove themselves about their technical knowledge in their respective discipline, showcase their general awareness, and their English skills through letter and essay writing. NIACL-AO Exam Pattern PERSONAL INTERVIEW
As well as candidates shortlisted after successfully passing both objective and descriptive exams in the Mains will be called up for the third and final phase of the Personal Interview round. As a result, candidates will receive a separate admit card containing details about the center, address of the venue, date & time.
