The SBI stands for the State Bank of India. It is the most renowned bank in India. Every year, State Bank of India holds the SBI Clerk Exam to select applicants for the position of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) in its various branches all over the country. SBI has made a recruitment announcement for 5486 Junior Associates positions this year. SBI Clerk Exam Application Fee

The application fee for the SBI Clerk Exam is different for different categories. This application fee should get paid online through the Credit Card/Internet Banking/Debit Card. The last step of the online application form registration is the payment of the fee. If the applicants fail to pay the application fee properly, then their application form will get rejected.

On paying the application fee properly, an E-receipt and the application form with the details registered will get generated for the applicants. SBI Clerk Exam Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must meet the below-mentioned criteria to become a Clerk with the SBI. If the candidate fails to meet the below-mentioned criteria, then that candidate will not get eligible to sit for the exam. This list of eligibility criteria gets released every year along with the SBI Clerk Exam official notification on their official website. For the SBI Clerk exam, SBI also grants candidates from the reserved categories and former service members an age reduction.

Nationality –

 The candidate must be an Indian citizen. If the candidate is from Nepal or Bhutan, or Bangladesh but has a valid certificate to prove their intention of settling in India, permanently are also eligible to apply for this exam. This valid certificate should get issued by the Government of India.

If they possess a valid document proving their intention to settle permanently in India, Tibetan refugees who arrived in India prior to 01st January 1962, with the intention of doing so, as well as people of Indian descent who migrated from nations such as Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya, are also eligible to take this exam.

Qualification –

  • The candidates must have earned a degree in any field of study or an equivalent qualification from a reputable school or board.
  • Candidates with integrated dual degrees (IDD) should make sure their IDD passing date is on or before 30th November 2022.

  • Candidates are required to have scored 50% on both their Secondary and Higher Secondary exams.
